Frame Mod

These are some pics I found of the hard tail I welded on.  The hard tail is a LedSled Customs 2" stretch.  I did alright on the two bottom rails.  I had to end up sending it to Led Sleds for the back bone.  I couldn't get the welds to penetrate that well.  I was using a cheapo MIG to do these.  I called around to local shops and nobody wanted to take the responsibility of frame modification.  Sissies!!!!!!!

Tacos La Bamba

A guy at work been getting these tacos for a couple weeks. They smell delicious, so I finally asked him to grab me some on his way to work. They taste as good as they smell. Mmmmmmmmmm.

Progress

My TIG progress. Got some 1/8" aluminum sheet. Cut it up into manageable pieces. Trying to get as much seat time as possible. I heard if you can weld aluminum you can pretty much weld anything. Any tips?

Early Christmas present!

I talked my wife into buying this Miller Diversion 165 sometime in November. Got used to the finger tip control then decided to buy a foot pedal. So continues the learning process.

Special Seventy Nine Tank

Like the title says! He had a tank that he was selling. I sent him a sight gauge which he installed just before the petcock. He posted a video on YouTube where he machined the bung and what not. Check out his blog and buy something!!!!

Parts

These are the parts I'm working with so far. Oil tank, fender strut, brake tab, mounting tabs with rubber grommets . Also have a T-bar kit but decided to go a different route. All from Bung King.

Intro

So I decide to publish a blog about my quest to build an awesome bike. I'll add some other stuff (food,funny shit). I don't have any skill other than what I'm learning as I go. I decided to get off my ass and build it myself.
